Rural Principal's Corner
East Poinsett County School District's Lepanto elementary principal journals about what is happening in this rural elementary school.
About Me
- Name: Mrs. Tennyson
- Location: Lepanto, Ar.
My second year as principal at Lepanto Elementary is coming to an end. Lepanto is one of two elementary campuses in the East Poinsett County School District. I'm looking forward to working with the community to help the children reach their potential. I was previously principal at Weiner Elementary for eight years. This is my tenth year as principal. Before I was principal, I taught kindergarten, first grade, sixth grade and was also gifted and talented teacher and coordinator. My experience was in the Grubbs and Cross County school districts. I am loving my new job. Every morning I get up thinking, "I can't wait to get to work." Thank you Lepanto for making me feel so welcome!
