Field Trips and Professional Development

Mrs. Kathy, Mrs. Neely, Mrs. James and Mrs. Craft took their classes to the "Nature Center" in Jonesboro today. Mrs. Craft took her camera, so I will be able to post pictures from the trip soon.

Yesterday, the teachers were trained in "videostreaming." AETN offers over 400,000 video clips from eduational videos which are free for educators to use. Your child's teacher can type in the subject and grade level and are immediately given a list of videos which are available for viewing. AETN also offers teachers' guides, blackline masters and tests on the videos.
