Change Is A Part Of Life

This will be my last year as elementary principal of Weiner Elementary. I've accepted a position as principal at Lepanto Elementary, EPC district. It has been a privilege to work with your children and to serve your community. I believe my work here is complete. Weiner Elementary is nationally recognized and is one of the "Top Ten Schools In The State." The faculty is quite capable of following the path we have forged together for the last eight years.

The thought of leaving reminds me of moving away from family. However, that is what families do. Members of our family grow and mature and take different paths into the world. It is time for me to take this new path.

I will always consider the children of Weiner as part of my extended family, just as I have included the children of Grubbs and Cross County in that family.

As we finish up this last nine weeks of the 2004-2005 school year, I would like to thank you for the opportunity to serve your community.
